Step 1. Cut the tops and bottom off to desired size.
Step 2. Hold the paring knife with the sharp side up and away from yourself. Cut in straight lines with the tip of the knife. Work around each branch of the green onion.
Step 3. Place the green onion in Ice water and place in the refrigerator. Leave the onion in the ice water for 2 hours or until desired results are achieved.
